Job Description
CornerStone TTS is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst for a hybrid opportunity in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role is an essential part of the finance process improvement efforts and requires an individual with a technical and analytical mindset capable of evaluating and enhancing business processes, specifically in the finance sector.
Position Overview
The Senior Business Process Analyst will focus on documenting, analyzing, and optimizing end-to-end business processes that impact the finance department. This role requires a thorough understanding of process flows, control frameworks, and operational efficiencies to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and support high-quality financial program evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Documentation and Analysis: Analyze business processes, document workflows, and provide recommendations for best practices to enhance finance operations.
Process Optimization: Use process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to drive operational efficiencies, reduce redundancies, and improve quality in finance workstreams.
Control Framework Application: Identify and implement control points in finance processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and risk mitigation.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts across departments to ensure accurate process documentation and seamless cross-functional workflow integration.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for process enhancements, automation opportunities, and data quality improvements to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Process Mapping: Proficiency with process mapping tools (such as Lucid or Visio) to document and analyze workflows.
Financial Program Evaluation: Hands-on experience in evaluating financial programs, including an understanding of accounting practices.
Technical and Analytical Mindset: Ability to think systematically about processes, identify improvements, and make data-driven decisions.
Process Improvement Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, or other similar methodologies, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements in the finance industry to ensure compliance in all process adjustments.
