CornerStone TTS is seeking a Senior Application Architect for a full-time, long-term opportunity. This role is ideal for an excellent coder with recent experience in application development who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding position. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise in application architecture and development, with hands-on experience in AWS and strong coding capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Application Architecture: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable application architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices in modular, decoupled, and integrated system designs.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, focusing on application development rather than cloud architecture.
• Coding & Development: While primarily focused on architecture, you will need to maintain your coding skills. The role involves participating in a coding round during the interview process, where you can demonstrate your proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• AWS Integration: Utilize your experience in AWS to design and implement cloud-based solutions that support the overall architecture, with a focus on application rather than infrastructure.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members, ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural principles.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of recent experience in application development, with a focus on architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including hands-on coding and development.
  • 2-3 years of experience with AWS, focusing on application-level integration and development.

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture principles, including microservices, modular design, and system integration.
  • Experience with AWS services relevant to application development.

• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
