CornerStone Professional Placement is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a well-regarded transportation industry client based in Fort Worth, TX. As the Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising an accountant and the accounts receivable personnel to ensure precise reconciliation of various asset and liability accounts. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, maintaining the fixed assets schedules, reconciling the General Ledger, assisting with month-end and year-end close, participating in budget preparation, and assisting with audit and reporting procedures. Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least 5 years of accounting experience, have 2 years of supervisory experience, and demonstrate proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements for the Accounting Supervisor:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field

·        CPA strongly preferred

·        Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting.

·        Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience

·        Minimum of 1 year of governmental accounting experience including experience with GASB regulations

·        Proficiency on using accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Compensation for the Accounting Supervisor:

·        Direct Hire

·        Location: Fort Worth, TX 76102 (100% onsite)

·        Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hrs/week.
